The Wi-Fi models would be released on the 4th and the Wi-Fi and 3G combination would be on the later part of the month. Customers can start pre-ordering the iPad on Apple’s online store on March 12.

This newest product of Apple Inc. has provided the missing link between the small smartphone and the bulky laptop computers. Prices start at $499 for the 16-gigabyte version, $599 for the 32-gig version and $699 for the 64, Jobs said at the company’s glitzy announcement in San Francisco, California. It would be made available to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK on the late part of April.

Casio Exilim 10MP Digital Camera

In today’s review I’m taking a look at the Casio Exilim 10MP Digital Camera model EX-S5. I recently had a chance to try out Casio Exilim 10MP digital camera and I decided to use it to grab some photos of my niece’s wedding. Read more to find out how well that worked for me and what I thought about this camera…

Let’s begin by examining some of the basic stats for the Casio EX-S5. Casio Exilim 10MP Digital Camera has the typical features you’ll find on many newer digi-cams in this price range such as 3x optical zoom, wide-screen HD video, in camera picture editing and face recognition. Casio calls their face recognition technology a makeup function that’s supposed to make adjustments to soften facial shadows during the shot and for editing afterward. As for video, it has a YouTube mode so that you can pre-format your video for uploading there. It works with SD and SDHC cards. You’ll need to buy a card or two for the camera since it only has 17mb in built-in memory.

Verizon Wireless Outage Resolved

Verizon Wireless outage plaguing users in parts of the East Coast this morning has apparently been resolved, we’re learning. The information about Verizon Wireless outage resolved comes courtesy of a tweet sent out at about 9:30AM Eastern, noting the following:

“VZW resolves early AM data issue that involved parts, not all, of eastern US: mix of some out, slower service, many unaffected from 4-8 AM.”

As the tweet mentions, users were complaining of slow service, and even complete outages. Whether or not this relates to the inclement weather in certain parts of the East Coast is unknown to us — but it’s fixed, so relax!

PS3 Network Status: When Will PlayStation Network Be Fixed

For the latest PS3 Network Status, we are back with the question, “When Will PlayStation Network Be Fixed?”. As of this date, reports have it that it’s already fixed, but some had commented that it still has some glitches. Yesterday, the main complaint was about the “An error has occurred.

You have been signed out ofPlayStation Network (8001050F)”. This appeared in the PS3 PlayStation Network. For those who are still experiencing problems, the PS3 Network Status is already okay as of now. The PlayStation Network has been fixed, and users can now play their favorite games. Sony was able to isolate the PlayStation Network code 8001050f and was able to fix the problem. See below for the actual PS3 Network Status and answer to the question “When Will PlayStation Network Be Fixed?”.

(PSN) PlayStation Network Down

Sony PlayStation 3 owners in multiple regions (including North America, Europe, and Australia) are facing the inability to sign into the PlayStation Network online gaming service, corrupted user data and inability to play some games online or off. The problems are accompanied by the 8001050F error code.

When they try to load up certain games — including the just-released Heavy Rain — they receive the error code and the following message: “Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. The game will now quit.” After the message, the system reboots. The problems seem to mostly affect older, “fat” models of the PS3. Slim models are either not impacted or affected far less frequently.

Trophies are prizes given to players for accomplishing certain tasks in each game; the trophies are synced with the PlayStation Network so players can compare their achievements. Gaming blog Joystiq found reports that the consoles were having their dates reset to 12/31/1999; that might somehow be related to the trophy syncing problems.
